WHAT DOES IT COST TO SEE DR. URE ?
Office visits to the doctors are charged at $30.00-$45.00 for the first visit
and $25.00-$35.00 for follow up visits. Therapies such a hydrotherapy or Bowen
body work are an extra charge. Vega testing is also an added fee and varies by
the amount of testing done. The usual vega fee is approximately $120.00 , which
checks foods, organ systems, nutritional status and other basic information. We
can send a more complete fee schedule if you would like, fees vary. There may
also be additional costs for prescribed medicines . If you have premium
assistance for your MSP there is no charge for your visit. See limits below
under MSP coverage.
Phone consultations will be charged at $60.00/hour with a minimum of $25.00.
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR E-MAIL QUESTIONS?
Absolutely not. Brief responses will be given as a service to those
who visit our web site. If more personal information is required, a telephone
consultation can be arranged for, and there will be a charge as listed above.
Follow up, to initial consultation will be charged for, according to the time
required to respond fully to consultation problem.
IS THERE MSP COVERAGE?
Effective January 1, 2002, only those MSP
beneficiaries with premium assistance status are eligible for a combined annual
limit (each calendar year) of 10 visits for physiotherapy, massage therapy,
chiropractic, naturopathy and non-surgical podiatry. MSP pays $23 for each
visit.
WILL MY EXTENDED HEALTH PLAN COVER ANY OF THE FEES ?
Many extended health plans do cover naturopathy - every company is
different. Please contact your employer for further information. Many companies
will cover office visits and testing.
IS IT SAFE TO COMBINE MY MEDICATION FROM MY MEDICAL DOCTOR WITH
NATUROPATHIC MEDICINES ?
Generally, it is quite safe; however, it is important to let us know exactly
what you are taking so that we can avoid any possible negative interactions.
WHY DO YOU SELL MEDICINES IN YOUR CLINIC?
Naturopathic treatments require specialized medicines. We sell remedies that
we have come to know and to trust over the years. We know what works and what
doesn't. In addition, these professional products are more hypoallergenic and of
much higher quality. If an unknown brand is not effective for you, its quality
may be in question, not the choice of treatment.
