ALLERGY TESTING AND DESENSITIZATION'S
We have found the Vega System to be an accurate, non-invasive
and cost effective method to sort out and treat allergy symptoms.
Desensitization is a simple administration of dilutions of antigen (the
allergen) under the tongue. We can also treat distant patients if they know
what they are allergic to. For example, if you know cottonwood causes a strong
hay fever response, dilutions of cottonwood antigen can be administered very
safely if there has never been an anaphylactic response to anything else in the
past. Other common allergens like house dust, house dust mites, cats dogs, etc.
can also be treated quite successfully. This seems to be very successful in
cases of asthma that have not required hospitalization. There will always be
non-responders with any successful treatment but this is not common. Again
every decision regarding desensitization will be made after a careful and
thorough history has been taken.
We are very conservative in our approach and will not suggest treatment unless
we are very sure it would be safe. If need be, we would suggest that a
consultation with another practitioner be done first. We frequently refer
people back to their medical doctor or to some other practitioner if they would
be better able to serve you. We are one small spoke in the larger wheel of the
medical arts. We also recognize and highly revere, the Great Physician, going
to Him regularly for guidance and wisdom.
We must not over look the importance of recognizing our allergies and approach their cause rather than suppress the symptoms that are present.
The allergies will be a constant stress to your immune system therefore making you more prone to viral and bacterial infections. Many infectious organisms just love and thrive on the excess secretions that occur with allergies. Perfect culturing medium.
